Ordered my new additional blower* yesterday. They said to expect it the 29th. It came in barely 30 hours, a feat considering I’m on a island!

*yes, !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . It’s an electric pusher that does double duty as an AC condenser cooler and backup for the main mechanical fan.

I ordered spark plugs and wires for my wife’s Explorer.  Ordered Tuesday night, arrived this morning.  Not bad.  The spark plug wires were half what the parts stores wanted.

This is why I wish their parts ordering system would say where the parts are going to ship from before they arrive. The estimated arrival time is completely bullshit and always says some day that is more than a week away. Meanwhile some parts arrive faster than amazon will ship stuff! But then in the last case I have, it said 5 business days and its actually taking that long, arriving a whole week later than I ordered. And its because its ground shipping from NY to CA. Ive had such luck though with rockauto that I ignored the estimated date since its “always wrong”.

RockAuto is damned awesome. I’ve been buying parts from them for almost 20 years, which is to say back when they had only one warehouse in WI and it was still worthwhile . They’ve mad maybe two or three mistakes over a couple hundred of orders and always made it right.
